GESTURES OF SOLIDARITY IN POKER

Poker is probably the cards game that is enjoyed by the biggest amount of people and the number of fans does not stop growing day by day, especially due to the fact that now it is possible to enjoy the best poker games without even have to leave the house.

In many occasions we could see how different charity events and poker tournaments were organized with the intention of raising money for a good cause, and every time the number of participants was massive, which showed the generosity of this population segment.

During those days, the majority of poker pros are in Las Vegas, taking part at the WPT Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic. And just there, a few days ago, a total of 19 poker stars got a haircut which left them without a single hair in their heads.

The reason why they did so was to show their solidarity with the American poker player, Thy Doan, who has cancer and has lost of her hair because of the treatment she is receiving.

With this gesture of solidarity, the poker community wants to give all their support to the young player and it shows us all that the poker sector is always there to help and support whoever needs it.
